Operation Instruction:
Place the knife blade between the sharpening rods. Hold the KS05 body with your other hand. Pull the blade through the sharpening rods from the handle to be sharping.
1.For sharpening, tilt the point of the blade downward while pulling through, Apply light downward pressure to the blade. Do not twist or turn the blade.(Sharpening the knives with smooth blades)
2.For honing (fine sharpening),tilt the point of the blade upward while pulling through. then simply pull through with a straight and even motion(Sharpening the knives with smooth blades).
After sharpening the blade from the rough sharpening part, you can polish the burr of blade edge by polish part which made by ceramic. Apply light press downward simply pull through and push through with a straight motion.
Collect the scrap drop down on the table while sharpening the blades, the magnet block hide in the bottom attract the scrap around the sphericity surface on the bottom .clean easy.
Sharpening Tips:
1.Hold the knife by the handle and apply light pressure with you forefinger on the back of the knife as you pull the knife through the sharpener .
2.Do not stop or start sharpening the knife halfway through the process .You must make a full pass to correctly sharpen the knife.
3.Pull the knife through the channel at a slow, steady speed.
4.Apply only light pressure to the knife during the sharpening process.
